This workshop was so popular, Eugene Yoga has decided to open a second day! Sign up soon to secure your spot for this sought after workshop at the only studio in Eugene with wall ropes, held at their 5th Street Studio on Saturday, February 1st and/or Sunday, February 2nd from 2:00-4:30pm.

Wall ropes are a standardized Iyengar yoga prop and can be utilized for every type of yoga pose to practitioners of all levels. In this workshop you will first explore how wall ropes can release neck and shoulder tension, then will create space in the back through supported spinal extensions and back bends. Lastly, you will use the wall ropes to experience restorative poses with more ease.

Join Eugene Yoga at their 5th Street Studio on Saturday, January 18th from 12:00-2:00pm for their “Cultivating Calm and Resilience in the Face of Stress” workshop with instructor Cynthia Gayman.  

This workshop is designed for those who want to develop ways of increasing the amount of equanimity in their lives. Equanimity describes the inner calm and centeredness that anchors us despite whatever life happens to throw at us. The workshop will be comprised of four parts: a guided self-awareness exercise, an asana (mat and/or chair) practice, pranayama (breath work) and a guided mantra meditation. Upon leaving you will feel equipped with new tools to expand your equanimity.
