Bennett Vineyards & Wine Company

Bennett Vineyards has spent many years nurturing vines, planting, staking, weeding, and pruning to perfect each and every grape that goes into their wines. Bennett’s 85 acre farm in the south Willamette Valley is ideal for growing the perfect pinot. Their 2019 Pinot Rose is best enjoyed during this time of year and their 2018 Pinot Noir Reserve is a double Gold Winner at Savor Northwest wine competition. Enjoy the fruits of Gene and Lisa Bennett’s labor located on 5th Ave between Pearl and Oak street.

J. Scott Cellars

Just on the other side of Pearl street on 5th Avenue, you will find J. Scott Cellars, known for their extensive menu of extraordinary tasting wines from the Pacific Northwest. If you are a fan of dessert wines, their 2018 Grenache Rosé is a hot seller. Though somewhat dry, it begins with a refreshing and bright strawberry and pomelo aroma and takes you through a crisp and well-balanced flavor trip. Other well known wines include their 2018 Chardonnay, 2017 Bradshaw Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Grenache Rosé, and Syrah. In addition to their easy drinking wines, J. Scott offers a delectable menu of handcrafted savory and sweet bites sure to satisfy any palate.

Provisions Market Hall

Once you make your way into the Market Core, you’ll find Provisions Market Hall in the fountain courtyard. Provisions is a casual restaurant, artisan bakery, and specialty food emporium with their wine bar located in the center. They have countless bottles from all over that will make it hard to choose just one. Their Planet Oregon Pinot Noir out-performs year after year as an affordable ambassador of Oregon pinot noir while the GM Cava Brut is their take on Spain's most popular sparkling wine. Cava undergoes the exact same production process as champagne but instead uses grapes like macabeo, xarel-lo and parallada.

Terra Pacem

Recently opened in the new Market Alley, you'll find Terra Pacem, a unique winery that is a social, learning, and agricultural community by and for people with disabilities. Try one of their bold reds or beautiful whites paired with cheese or charcuterie plate. Their 2018 Red Blend from the Columbia Valley is a combination of grenache and syrah with nice structure and light tannins. Best enjoyed with white meats, medium cheeses, and butter cream sauces. A lovely brut with citrus and pear aromas creates a vigorous, lingering fine mousse flavor, and leads to a smooth and round mouth feel. Available mid-May and paired best with any celebration.

They have seventy acres of ultra-premium vines including pinot noir, pinot gris, chardonnay, muscat and merlot. Try their Anna Skye white that has hints of ripe pears, juicy green apples and tropical fruits of mango and honeydew melon. Perfect for a warm evening. Their 2018 Tango is a soft and smooth blend of merlot and marechal foch that has a hearty black raspberry finish.
